POLICE are appealing for information about two incidents overnight in which burglars were disturbed at separate addresses.
The PSNI say that at around 2.30 am, a thief was disturbed in a house in Whitehouse Park, off the city’s Buncrana Road.
The crook got into the property through a conservatory door and fled out the front.
But not before taking a purse and a packet of tobacco.
Around the same time, an intruder was rumbled trying to get into a property in Rossnagalliagh and damaged window hinges.
Investigating officer Constable Collins has appealed to anyone with information about the incidents to contact him on the non-emergency 101 number, or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
