STORM Henry is sweeping across Derry this afternoon.
It has caused uprooted a tree which has fallen across the old Derry to Letterkenny road.
The road has now been closed because as a result.
The tree was blown to the village of Killea in Co Donegal.
Roads chiefs have dispatched a tree maintenance team to chop it and remove it from the road.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and see an alternative route.
The same road was blocked last Friday by another fallen tree after Storm Gertrude swept in across Derry.
The Foyle Bridge is currently closed to high-sided vehicles.
A 30 mph speed restriction has been put in place.
The Met Office has warned that winds could reach up to 70 mph throughout today and tonight.
The yellow weather warning is in place until 9 am tomorrow morning.
Forecasters of possible destruction to property and also power supplies maybe affected.
