THE Fire and Rescue Service say crews attended the scene yesterday afternoon of a two car crash in Derry.
Fire fighters from Crescent Link were alerted to the accident around 2.17 pm on the Woodside Road in the New Buildings.
“Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a 39-year-old woman from one car,” said a spokesman.
“She was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
“A 59-year-old woman was assisted from the vehicle.”
