A MAN who works at a Derry taxi office heaved a sigh of relief this evening when he was reunited with passport – with the help of Facebook.
Joshua Matthews posted on the social media site yesterday that he was trying to find and return the passport to its rightful owner.
He wrote: “Found an Irish passport behind the Ulster Bank on the Waterside in Derry.
“The name is John Gardiner.
“Please help me get it back to him.”
Within a few hours of posting, one of Joshua’s Facebook friends told him that Mr Gardiner worked at a taxi depot on Chapel Road in Derry.
And Joshua later posted: “Got him there. Thanks for all your help.”
