POLICE are warning the public burglars are on the prowl in Derry’s Rosemount area.
One house was broke into and thieves stole two televisions, a guitar, an iPad and an XBox gaming console during the break-in.
The PSNI say the burglary took place in Argyle Street sometime between 2.30 pm on Sunday and 3.30 am yesterday morning.
Police have appealed to anyone who has any information regarding the burglary, witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or has been offered for sale any of the items to contact Constable Knox at Strand Road PSNI on 101 non-emergency number, quoting reference number 98 8/2/16.
