FIRE crews dealt with a blaze at a house in Co Derry yesterday.
The Fire and Rescue Servide say units responded to a report of a fire at a detached house at Clooney Road in the Tobermore area of Maghera.
A utility room was damaged by the fire along with the smoke.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to put out the fire in the utility room.
“Crews ventilated the smoke from the premises.
“The smoke alarm was activated by the fire.
The cause of the fire appeared accidental.
“Fire crews from Maghera station attended the incident.”
