A woman has been convicted at Derry Magistrates’ Court for claiming benefits she was not entitied to.
Emma Black, of Clonmeen Drive, Strathfoyle claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £3,274 while failing to declare employment.
The 32-year-old was given a two year conditional discharge.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
