DETECTIVES have released two men arrested in Derry yesterday as part of a PSNI investigation into terrorism and organised crime in the city.
The men, aged 34 and 44, were detained by officers from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch under section 41 of the Terrorism Act.
They were arrested after planned searches of properties in the Ballymagroarty and Galliagh areas.
The men were taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave Police PSNI in Belfast for questioning.
The PSNI say the men were released conditionally last night after over 12 hours of questioning.
