SINN Féin councillor Colly Kelly has said there is set to be disruption at one of the city’s busiest road junctions during March as a new Natural Gas Network is installed in the area.
He said: “Over the weekend residents received letters from Firmus energy to say that McNicholas Construction working on behalf of the company are about to start the construction of a new Natural Gas Network in the area for five weeks.
“They have agreed with DRD Road Service to operate road closures on Marlborough Terrace on the 6thMarch for one day and Creggan Road on the 12thand 13th March for two days and 20th March for one Day.
I”t’s important that motorists across the city are aware of these closures as this is one the busiest and at times most congested road junctions in the city.
“And that disruption to local residents is kept to a minimum.”
