A CO Derry pensioner was convicted this week of claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Andrew Cunningham, of Hall Crescent, Maghera claimed Pension Credit totalling £8,099 while failing to declare employment.
At Magherafelt Magistrates’ Court, the 68-year-old was given 120 hours community service.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
