THE Fire and Rescue Service say crews responded to a report of a fire at a terraced house at Carn Hill in Derry yesterday.
The incident involved a pensioner.
A spokesman said: “Firefighters used a Microvent to administer oxygen therapy to a 69-year-old man for mild smoke inhalation at the scene.
“Fire crews from Northland station attended the incident.”
It is believed the cause of the fire was accidental.
