DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have charged two men in connection with the discovery of a massive cannabis factory in Co Derry.
Cannabis with an estimated value of £125,000 was uncovered in Limavady on Wednesday.
The men – aged 46 and 53 – face a number of charges.
They included possessing herbal cannabis, cultivating herbal cannabis and have the drugs with intent to supply and also conspiracy to supply drugs under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
They are due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning for a first remand hearing.
A 24-year-old man, who was also arrested as part of the planned raid, has been released on bail pending further police inquiries.
