POLICE are investigating following a burglary at business premises.
Thieves used the cover of St Patrick’s Day to break into the premises in the Killylane Road area of Eglinton.
The PSNI say officers received a report on the morning of Thursday 17 March that the premises had been broken into and a number of expensive power tools had been stolen between 4 am and 4.15 am.
Constable Ian Fielding said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
