DETECTIVES have charged a man with a total of 31 offences, including two counts of trying to kill two PSNI officers.
The man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder after he allegedldy drove at police officers.
The man was arrested on Friday, February 5 after a road accident involving two vehicles on the Caw roundabout in Derry around lunchtime.
A stolen grey Skoda Superb car, which had been taken during a creeper burglary in the Lindenwood Park area, was spotted by police just before 12.20 pm.
PSNI officers gave chase when the stolen car collided with another vehicle.
It is believed no-one was seriously injured in the crash, but two police officers who were on beat patrol sustained injuries getting out of the way of the stolen car as it was driven towards them.
A further PSNI officer was injured making the arrest.
The man is to face Derry Magistrates’ Court in the morning, Easter Saturday, March 26 for a first remand hearing.
