A man is to appear in Strabane Magistrates’ Court today charged over a £64,000 cannabis seizure in Belgium.
The drugs were found as part of a joint operation between the PSNI and the National Crime Agency.
A house in Castlederg, was searched yesterday.
As a result, a 40-year-old man was arrested under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
He has been charged with four offences including attempted importation of a class B drug and intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure of the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch said: “Anyone involved in the importation and supply of illegal drugs can expect to be pursued by police and brought before the courts.”
