A BOMB alert which forced the evacuation of staff at the Public Prosecution Service’s office in Derry has now ended.
Police visited the offices on the Limavady Road in the Waterside just after mid day and told staff to leave the premises immediately.
The area around the offices was sealed off.
British Army Technical Officers were drafted in to examine a package which may have been thrown over the perimeter wall.
Following an examination by a robot, ATO have now declared it as “nothing untoward”.
The Limavady Road remained open to traffic throughout the security operation.
