SDLP leader Colum Eastwood along with party colleagues Mark H Durkan and Gerry Diver launch the party’s manifesto today.
The trio are running for the party in the Foyle constituency in next month’s Assembley election.
They are hoping to retain all three seats and stave off a challenge from Sinn Fein who have parachuted deputy first minister Martin McGuinness.
Sinn Fein hope McGuinness can steal a seat from the SDLP.
Gerry Diver posted on Facebook: “Promising to lower student fees, open a savings account for all our young people and demanding prison time for those who attack our elderly….SDLP manifesto 2016 making politics work.”
