POLICE say three teenage boys were arrested last night following “suspicious activity” in the Coshquin Road of Derry.
The three juveniles – aged 14, 15 and 16, were taken to Strand Road police station for questioning.
They were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police have increased patrols across the city about the rise in car crime and general anti social behaviour.
Earlier this week, children as young as ten set fire to traffic lights on Madams Bank Road.
Fire crews who attended the scene to extinguish a number of fires came under attack from a stone thrower.
