DETECTIVES are continuing to quiz a 62-year-old man following the death of a woman at a house in Co Derry.
Police were called to a house on the Glenshane Road in Claudy at around 4.30 am yesterday morning, Saturday, April 16.
There they found the body of mother-of-two Mary McLaughlin.
The 36-year-old was from Dungiven.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey of the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team said Ms Loughlin’s death was unexplained.
He added that the death was being treated as “suspicious” at present.
A post mortem examination will be carried today to establish the cause of her death.
DCI Harvey has appealed for anyone with information to contact MIT detectives on the 101 non emergency number.
