A DERRY mum says she has been left “heartbroken” after treasured family items were stolen from her car by thieves during a daylight robbery.
Among the items taking from car parked outside St Patrick’s School this afternoon were memorial cards to her later parents.
Devastated Jeannie has used Facebook to raise awareness to thefts and has pleaded for them to be returned.
Said Jeannie: “Some low BASTARD lifted my purse out of my car today between 2.45 ~3.05 outside St Patricks front gates. £30 they would have got!!
“My mum and dad’s memorial cards and journal clipping.
“My mums prayers that I have had since she died 16 years ago.
“Photos of my children.
“A wee heart shaped stone my daughter found on a beach years ago and gave to me.
“To say I’m heart broken is understated.
“I might, no doubt get angy later but my heart is so sore right now.
“Share this an warn the honest men and women going and coming from the school what can happen so easily.
“Also my address is in it.
“If anyone seen anyone at my car or has found a purse please message me on here.”
So please share in the hope Jeannie can get her purse back along with her family mementoes.
