THE Fire and Rescue Service say crews had a cut a woman out of car following a smash at the weekend.
Details have been released today about the incident.
An NIFRS spokesperson said: “Crew from Northland and Crescent Link responded to a road traffic collision involving two cars at Madams Bank Road in the Shantallow area of Derry.
“Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release a 34-year-old woman from one car.
“The other casualty was out on arrival of FRS.
“Both casualties were transported to hospital by ambulance.”
