Missing Derry teenager Caitlin Maguire now found safe and well

POLICE have confirmed that a missing Derry teenager has been found safe and well.

The PSNI launched an appeal last night asking for the help of the public in tracing Caitlin Maguire.

The 16-year-old had been missing from her home since Monday, April 25.

Foyle PSNI issued a photograph and description of Caitlin asking the public to assist them as they were concerned for her welfare.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed this afternoon that Caitlin had been found “safe and well”.

They thanked the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
