THE FIRE Service say crews responded to a report of a fire at a terraced house at Bann Drive in the Lisnagelvin area of Derry earlier this week.
A spokesman said: “The toaster fire was out on arrival of FRS.
“Firefighters ventilated the smoke from the premises.
“Sounding smoke alarms alerted occupiers to the fire.
“The cause of the fire appeared accidental.
“Fire crew from Crescent Link station attended the incident.”
