A Derry mum who lost five members of her family in the Buncrana Pier tragedy has been among the winners at a special Belfast City Marathon prize giving.
Louise James lost partner Sean McGrotty, 46, sons, Mark, 12 and Evan, eight, sister Jodie-Lee Tracey and her mother, Ruth Daniels, 57, in the tragedy in March in Co Donegal
But in May, Louise did a leg of the Belfast City Marathon along with hero Davitt Walsh, who saved her daughter Rioghnach-Ann, and more than 100 friends and family.
They did it to raise funds in memory of Evan who had a muscle-wasting condition, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which leads to increasing disability and cuts lives short.
The #TEAMEVAN run was organised by family friend Tommy McCallion in a bid to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK and also raise the profile of the illness.
Louise and #TEAMEVAN, made up of 24+ relay teams, were awarded the Special Merit Award.
