INITIATIVE LAUNCHED TO STOP BUS STONING INCIDENTS IN CO DERRY

Bus stoning initiativePOLICE have joined forces with community groups, council and a bus company in a bid to end stoning throwing attack on public transport.

They recently with Columba Mailey of Greysteel Community Enterprises and representatives from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and Translink as they launch an initiative aimed at stopping the stoning of busses passing through the village.

The PSNI say that throughout the summer, police officers will be working with community representatives and engaging with local youths.
