POLICE in Strabane are appealing for information following two fires at Herdman’s Mill, a derelict factory, at Mill Lane in Sion Mills.
Sergeant Allen said: “ On the evening of Friday 10th June, a fire was started at Herdman’s Mill causing substantial damage.
“A second fire was started at around 8.30 pm on Saturday 11th June, causing further damage.
“We are treating the fires as arson attacks and I would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police in Strabane on 101.
“I would also like to advise members of the public that this building has been condemned and under no circumstances should anyone enter the building due to health and safety concerns and a high risk of serious injury.”
