IT TOOK them 27 years of campaigning to clear the names of their 96 loved ones.
Now those same people who took on the British system will visit Derry this week to speak about their fight for ‘Justice For The 96’.
A recent inquest finally cleared the names of the 96 Liverpool fans who were crushed to death in 1989 during an FA Cup semi final against Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough football ground.
Some of those involved in the families’ Hillborough campaign will be in Derry on Wednesday to discuss their fight for justice.
They have been invited by the Bloody Sunday Trust.
The discussion will take place at An Culturlann at Great James Street at 7.30 pm this Wednesday, June 15.
