Damian Barton’s side will play either Dublin or Meath in All Ireland qualifiers
DERRY will face the losers of the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final between Dublin and Meath in the second round of All-Ireland football qualifiers.
Damian Barton’s side beat Louth on Saturday in Owenbeg and have again drawn Leinster opposition in Round 2A.
James Kielt scored 1-9 as Derry progressed to the second round of All-Ireland SFC qualifiers thanks to a strong second half display in Owenbeg which saw them beat Louth by 1-18 to 2-10.
Louth, who were forced to field just six days after losing in the Leinster championship to Meath, led by a point at half-time but faded badly in the second half.
They were reduced to 14 men when Declan Byrne, who was their top scorer with 1-3 from play, received a straight red card in injury-time.
