POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 39 year-old woman whose body was found near a Co Derry lake.
The remains of Agnieszka Szypulska were discovered close to Binevenagh Lake on Saturday 18 June.
Officers investigating her death are appealing to members of the public to try and trace the her movements of Agnieszka who is a Canadian/Polish national who was on holiday in the North.
Sergeant Stephen Taylor said: “Agnieszka’s body was discovered on Saturday morning, at approximately 11.30 am by a member of the public.
“It is believed Agnieszka was on holiday in Northern Ireland and may have been in the Articlave area on Thursday, 12 May.
“I am trying to trace anyone who may have spoken to or seen Agnieszka over the past few days.
“If you believe you have any information that may assist us in our enquiries please contact police at Limavady on the non-emergency number 101.”
