POLICE are appealing for information following a number of thefts in Co Derry last week.
They happened in the Draperstown sometime between the evening of Tuesday, June 14 and the morning of Wednesday, June 15.
A child’s motorised car, a hoover and a blaster were stolen from a shed at one house.
A stereo was taken from a car at another property while a wallet was stolen from a vehicle at a third premises.
Damage was also caused to a car at a house in the area in the early hours of Sunday, June 12 which is believed to have happened after a bid was made to open the locked driver’s door.
All the incidents occurred in the Dromdallagan area.
Constable Shields said: “I would ask anyone with any information about these incidents, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously, to contact Magherafelt Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 169 of 15/06/16.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
In a separate incident, police have appealed for information after a purse containing a sum of cash, a quantity of jewellery and vouchers was stolen from a car parked in the Disert Road area of Draperstown.
The incident happened sometime between Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14.
Constable Matthew Murphy said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who can help with our enquiries.
