POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of an early morning burglary in Derry.
The 35-year-old was detained following a report of a break-in at a house in the Woodbrook area of the city.
It happened around 4 am this morning, Thursday, June 23.
The suspect is now in custody at Strand Road PSNI station being questioned on suspicion of burglary of the home.
While their inquiries continue, police have appealed to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at around 4 am to contact them at Strand Road on the 101 non-emergency number quoting reference number 129 23/06/16.
