POLICE in Derry have charged a man with a number of drug offences including growing cannabis.
The 24-year-old has also faces a charge of “simplicitor” possession of herbal cannabis.
The charges relate to a drugs find in the Harvey Street area of the city on March 24, 2015.
Police have also charged him with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
It is alleged that he had a a Stanley knife,at Queen’s Quay in the city on the same date.
He is due to face at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning for a first remand hearing.
