The serious crime custody suite at Musgrave PSNI station
DETECTIVES investigating violent dissident republican activity in Derry have arrested a second man.
The 27-year-old was detained in the city this morning under section 41 of the Terrorism Act by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit based at Maydown.
He has been taken to the PSNI’s serious crime suite at Musgrave PSNI Station in Belfast for questioning.
He is the second man to be detained in the city in 24 hours.
A man was arrested in the city yesterday morning.
He has since been released unconditionally.
