A man missing from the North has been found safe and well in Co Donegal.
Last night, Derry Daily reported that the PSNI and the family of missing Michael Meenan became increasingly concerned for his welfare.
The 57-year-old had not been seen since 9pm on Thursday evening.
It is believed that he may have travelled to the Strabane area and crossed into Donegal early this morning in a red coloured Peugeot 207 car.
A member of his family has now confirmed to us that Michael was found safe and well last night.
He has now been reunited with his family.
It is understood that Michael, who is originally from Newry in Co Down, had been spotted on CCTV entering Donegal.
It is understood Michael is in good health and his family say he wants to put his ordeal behind him.
Both the PSNI and Gardai in Donegal have thanked the public for their assistance in the case.
