POLICE are continuing to crackdown on anti-social behaviour on an estate in Derry.
It follows complaints from the community and householders about youths causing problems.
A spokesperson for police in Foyle said: “Whilst on patrol in the Galliagh area on Sunday afternoon Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team came across a number of youths acting suspiciously near some vehicles.
“As a result a car and a motorbike were seized.
“One arrest was made at the scene and a further detection was made.”
The spokesperson added: “We are committed to addressing anti-social behaviour.”
Last Friday, police removed material gathered for a bonfire in the Galliagh area.
It followed concerns raised with the PSNI that material could be set a light near homes.
A Foyle police spokesperson said at the time: “Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team yesterday responded to community concerns and removed these items from Galliagh Park.
“There have been recent cases of fires being lit in the northern estates.
“Residents rightly feared that someone could be injured or damage could be caused to property should these items be burnt near to residential homes.
“We are committed to addressing anti-social behaviour and will respond to issues raised by the local community.”
