FIRE crews are tackling a blaze at the site of the former Immaculate Conception College in Derry this morning.
Around 25 fire fighters have been trying to contain the fire at Trench Road which started at 5 am.
There are concerns about asbestos in the building.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service have said that the fire was started deliberately.
It is the latest incident at the site of the former school which closed for good in June last year.
Work to demolish the building began two months ago.
