The car found burned in Creggan’s Iniscarn Road
RESIDENTS in Derry’s Creggan estate are concerned after a car was set on fire.
A local councillor said he hoped there would no be repeat of the incident over the coming days and weeks.
Sinn Féin Councillor Kevin Campbell said: “I was contacted by residents of Iniscarn Road to say that someone set fire to a car in the lay-by there.
“I visited the scene myself and will be in contact with the council to try and get the car removed as quickly as possible.
“Let’s hope this isn’t going to be a regular occurrence over the summer.”
