SEVERAL thousand people have descended on Limavady today for the annual Twelfth of July celebrations.
The town is playing host to the Co Derry Orange Order.
Around 3,000 Orangement representing 60 lodges were accompanied by over 50 bands.
The main procession left from Church Street at midday making its way through the town to the Limavady Orange field.
Among those taking part were DUP Foyle MLA Gary Middleton and former DUP Assembly Speaker Willie Hay, now Lord Hay of Ballyore.
DUP Communities Minister Paul Givan also attended as a guest at the parade for Derry city and Co Derry lodges.
