DERRY City face Bohemians in front of the eir Sport cameras, at Dalymount Park in Dublin, tonight (kick off 8 pm).
It is will be a tough game for the Candy Stripes even though Bohs are fourth from bottom and have lost more games than they have won.
Boss Kenny Shiels knows it’s going to be a tough encounter against Keith Long’s side, who themselves are looking to bounce back after last week’s Dublin derby defeat at Shamrock Rovers.
Earlier in the season a Rory Patterson goal was enough for the Candystripes to secure the points at the Brandywell.
But Shiels knows the Dubliners have the players to reverse the out-come tomorrow evening.
“Bohemians are a quality team, they beat Dundalk last year and they have good weapons within their team,” he said.
“I don’t want all the talk to be about a certain player that they have, because then the players start to think just about him, they have quality players all over their team and we have got to look at their whole team.”
City will be without suspended skipper Ryan McBride.
Garth McGlynn continues to miss out with a hamstring problem.
On the positive side, Harry Monaghan is expected to be named among the substitutes for tonight’s clash.
A win for Derry keeps them in third place and still in contention with second placed cork and table toppers Dundalk..
