POLICE have arrested a male this afternoon on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The PSNI had been searching for the driver of a car since Saturday which made off from a patrol.
In a Facebook posting on Saturday, PSNI Foyle said: “A black Renault Megane with plastic sheets on the roof was today seen driving dangerously and made off from police on the Springtown Road at 3.30pm today.
“We would be keen to track down the car and the driver.
“If anyone has any information please ring 101 and quote reference number 857 and today’s date 23/07/16.”
