POLICE SEIZE BOOZE FROM UNDERAGE DRINKERS AT CULMORE POINT

Culmore point booze seizedTHE PSNI in Derry seized a quantity of alcohol from underage drinkers.

The police way they were responding to concerns from local residents last night.

During patrols by a local policing team and a neighbourhood policing team, officers found underage drinkers at Culmore point.

Among the items seized were tins of beer, a large plastic bottle of cider and a quarter bottle of Scotch whiskey.

Police in the city have been dealing with anti-social problems involving car crime, drug dealing, drug taking, underage drinking, illegal fires and thefts.

Anyone with information about those involved in anti-social activities should ring police in Derry on the 101 number.
