DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have arrested a man in Derry over a £60,000 cocaine last year.
The 29-year-old man was arrested after searches of a house this morning, Thursday, August 4.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure said: “The man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a class A drug and other drugs supply offences and is currently in custody helping police with enquiries.”
The drugs were seized at Nutts Corner in November last year and Belfast Central Station in February this year.
It is the second arrest in the past 24 hours.
Detectives yesterday a 34 year old man following the search of a house at Millrush Drive in Portstewart for questioning.
