Two arrested car thief suspects get to spend the night in ‘Hotel Strand Road’
POLICE in Derry have praised the assistance of a taxi driver and a passenger in helping to detect to car thief suspects.
They were detained in the Carnhill area by the PSNI’s Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team.
In a posting on its Facebook page, PSNI Foyle say: “We don’t like knocking on your door at 2am with the bad news that your car has been broken into.
“However, the news is made that little bit sweeter when we catch the two suspects rummaging through your car and they get to spend the night at Hotel Strand Road.
“Ballyarnett NPT would like to thank the taxi driver and passenger in Carnhill for your help!”
