Jono the new police sniffer dog in Derry
MEET Jono the new police sniffer dog.
He has joined the ranks of the PSNI in Foyle as officers continue to try and keep drugs off the streets of Derry and prevent harm to young people.
A police spokesperson said: “Jono is one of our newest Police Dogs and yesterday he joined Foyleside & the Moor Neighbourhood Policing Team for a number of drug searches.
“This was in response to concerns raised by our local community.”
