DERRY City manager Kenny Shiels says his players must respect this weekend’s opponents Bray Wanderers ahead of the game at the Carlisle Grounds on Saturday night, August 27 (kick off 7.30 pm).
Bray have improved considerably after a poor start to the season.
And they have now gone nine games unbeaten since losing at the Brandywell back on May.
“The last eight games they have been really good. I have to say that,” Shiels said.
“They have good players and a big squad. They have beaten Dundalk at home 2-0 and they have travelled to beat Galway 2-0; those are fantastic results, they really are. It’s a tough game.
“You just have to look at their results to see how well they have done.”
Aaron Barry and Ryan McBride are ruled out for Saturday’s game.
It means recent international signings Cristian Castells and Max Karner, who both played in a behind closed doors game against Coleraine in midweek, are both available for selection against Bray.
