A TEENAGE school boy has been airlifted to hospital after he was seriously injured in a motorbike crash.
The accident happened in Magilligan this afternoon around 1.45 pm.
Two helicopters, one from the coastguard in Prestwick and an Irish Coastguard Rescue helicopter from Sligo, were involved in the operation.
The boy was airlifted to Altnagelvin Hospita.
He was rushed into the emergency department where he underwent emergency surgery.
The boy is now said to be seriously ill.
