THIS is the fantastic picture taken by Yvonne Doherty which caught the moment a storm swept across Derry and the North West.
In the blink of an eye, Yvonne captured a lightning strike from the dark clouds which had rolled in from the Atlantic.
And her picture caught not one but tWo lightning strikes as the heavy rain storm swept in from the coast engulfing the North West.
The storm brought thunder and also heavy rain.
There is very little more than we can say….just that a picture paints a thousands words.
