DAMIAN Barton has been re-appointed as Derry’s gaelic football manager for a second year.
Doire GAA appointed the 1993 All-Ireland winner as the new county football manager in September last year.
He took over from Brian McIver with a two year contract in charge of Oak Leaf.
McIver quit the post in July 2015 following his sides All Ireland qualifier defeat to Galway.
Barton, 54, had previously managed a number of club sides including Ballinderry and Slaughtneil.
