THE PSNI in Derry have issued a Killer Clown Guide for anyone thinking of joining in on the ‘worldwide craze’.
Police had previously issued a stark warning to those considering pulling a ‘killer clown’ prank in the North.
One school in North Antrim called in the police earlier this week after a social media posting that a ‘Killer Clown’ was going to turn up at the gates as children left at home time.
Up to seven armed cops patrolled the grounds in an effort to ward off any possible attack on pupils.
Now they have taken to Facebook and Twitter to issue guidelines on how to avoid spending a night in custody.
Police fear a copy cat craze after it hit Irish shores following a pattern in the USA.
PSNI Foyle say: “Killer Clowns. The craze has apparently reached our great area!
“It was only a matter of time I guess, given that it somehow seems to have become a mega huge, Worldwide craze recently…
