POLICE are advising motorists to reduce their speed after officers have been attending a large number of road traffic collisions across Derry in recent days and weeks.
They are advising motorists to adjust their driving now that we are in Autumn and the mornings are darker.
Heavy rain reduces visibility and also makes road conditions difficult.
A spokesperson said: “Please be aware that while it looks like a lovely autumn day in some areas water is still lying in areas this morning.
“Slow down, keep back from the vehicle in from and take care.
“We are lucky that so far no one has been seriously injured and we want to keep it that way.”
So KILL YOUR SPEED, not other road users.
